Methadone Screen and Confirmation, Urine

This urine test evaluates and detects Methadone (Dolophine). Methadone is a narcotic pain reliever used to treat moderate to severe pain. It is approximately equal in pain relieving properties to morphine, but produces less euphoria than morphine.

Methadone is highly addictive, but withdrawal symptoms are less intense than morphine and other narcotics. This drug is used in the management of severe pain and in narcotic detoxification maintenance programs. Methadone has potential for abuse and addiction.

Methadone can be detected for up to 3 days after initially taken.
